Call for Papers
EPIA is the main International Conference of Artificial Intelligence in Portugal, supported by Portuguese Artificial Intelligence Association (APPIA). The purpose of the conference is to promote research in AI and scientific exchange among AI researchers, practitioners, scientists, and engineers in related disciplines.
EPIA conferences has been organized since 1989 every two years. Continuing the successful tradition, EPIA 2015, the Seventeenth Portuguese Conference on Artificial Intelligence, will be held in the campus of University of Coimbra, in Coimbra, Portugal (http://epia2015.dei.uc.pt), 8-11, September, 2015. All conference papers are published by Springer as “Progress in Artificial Intelligence”, Lecture Notes in Artificial Intelligence subseries.

About EPIA
EPIA is the main International Conference of Artificial Intelligence in Portugal, supported by Portuguese Artificial Intelligence Association (APPIA). The purpose of the conference is to promote research in AI and scientific exchange among AI researchers, practitioners, scientists, and engineers in related disciplines.
EPIA conferences have been organized since 1989 every two years. The last edition was held in Azores and the percentage of papers acceptance was 25%. A selection of the best conference papers is published at Springer as “Progress in Artificial Intelligence”, Lecture Notes in Artificial Intelligence subseries – see the EPIA 2013 book here.
Thematic Tracks
EPIA2015 is the seventeenth Portuguese Conference on Artificial Intelligence. It will have multiple scientific and technical tracks, student abstracts, poster sessions, invited speakers, and exhibit programs, all selected according to the highest reviewing standards. EPIA2015 welcomes submissions on mainstream artificial intelligence topics as well as novel crosscutting work in related areas.
